My name is Tara, and my journey in the beauty and wellness world began 24 years ago. For the past decade, I have specialized as a medical aesthetician. Throughout my entire career, I have dedicated myself to delivering the highest level of professionalism and service. Above all, I pride myself on building deep trust and lasting friendships with the clients who walk through my door.
Driven by a desire to expand my knowledge and provide a highly requested, essential service, I recently took a crazy idea and turned it into a reality. With the unwavering support of my family and signs from above, I went back to school to study electrolysis. Taking this step meant packing my bags and leaving my family for two weeks—the first time I had been away from them in 13 years. It was an emotional goodbye, filled with tears, but my incredibly supportive husband held down the fort at home so I could pursue this next chapter.
Every tear was worth it because I am following my true dream in an industry I absolutely love. This passion and dedication have led me right here, fully equipped to care for your skin needs. I cannot wait to welcome you to the lounge and help you achieve your goals. Thank you to all my amazing clients who have supported me over the years. What is... Electrolysis?
Electrolysis is the only FDA approved PERMANENT HAIR REMOVAL METHOD. It has been around since 1875, to first treat an ingrown eye lash! A small, sterile, disposable probe is inserted into each individual hair follicle. This precise technique allows for hairs to be permanently destroyed.
*There are 2 popular treatments with electrolysis that are used today.
Thermolysis: Uses an alternating current (+/-) high frequency current. This current produces friction within the follicle causing destruction of the cells responsible for hair growth.
Blend Technique: Combines two types of electrical currents: Galvanic (direct) Current and Thermolysis (heat).
When these currents enter the hair follicle, they react with the natural salt and water (electrolyte) inside the skin. This reaction creates a small amount of lye, a highly corrosive chemical. The combination of heat and lye effectively destroying the hair.
